Some people believe that it is good for young people to do community service without getting paid. They can help their community by working for a charity, making their neighbourhood better, or teaching sports to younger kids. I completely agree with this statement for the following reasons.

First of all,  doing unpaid community service teaches young people to care about others and become responsible citizens. When they help out each other, like volunteering at a local charity, they can have chances to see how their work can really make a difference. This can make them more likely to keep helping others as they grow up.

Secondly, joining voluntary community service helps young people learn new skills and gain valuable experience. For example, teaching sports to kids can teach them how to be leaders and work with others. These skills can be really helpful later in their lives. For instance, young people can get better job opportunities as their resumes are filled with such skills.

Lastly, community service can make the bonds in the community stronger. When young people take part in these activities, they can help to create a supportive society. They not only make their neighbourhood nicer but also bring people together. This can make everyone feel more connected and proud of where they live.
